Before 10:00a.m.and after 3:00 p.m. it is quiet time for fishing and pontoon boating around the lake. There is plenty of good fishing including pan fish, largemouth bass and northern pike. The fishery is supported by the Big Bass Lake Association efforts and the aerator that runs in the winter months.,There is a public boat landing at the south end of the lake for easy access to the water.
